Balancing

I am a performer,  I work full time as a special educator and I am also a dance instructor. In my free time, I lead the dance ministry at my church and I have alsosometimes my life is overwhelming.  I manage to get everything done, but  sometimes I feel like there’s too much to do and not enough time in the day. Sometimes I barely have time  to rest and recharge. Sometimes I get tired of always running around and I just want to do my own things on my own terms.

I’m trying to find a balance in my life between working and creating and also include time to rest. I need to have daily, weekly, and monthly schedule  that will allow me to keep track of all my responsibilities, goals, and deadlines.

My morning routine is crucial. I try to designate time for meditate, yoga, and prayer before  anything else, but during the week I struggle to make time for this before leaving for work. I  love to write in the morning, but there’s not enough time in the morning, and I’m too exhausted by the end of the day.

,I have my own creative projects that I need to work on.  That includes  learning and  practicing songs for  upcoming performances/auditions, choreographing new routines for my dance class and creating dances for my own professional repertoire.

I have to constantly prioritize my commitments and let go of extra activities that I can no longer fit into my life.
